陈年并不否认人员的调整，在他看来，有些岗位并不需要那么多人。“我们确实对人员进行了优化，公司现在已经没有副总裁，原来凡客有些像官僚机构，光副总裁、助理总裁就有20几个。”

改变背后凡客的问题是当公司把销售额、增长率当作目标的时候，意味着只能倒逼产品。而疯狂的追求规模和增长率带来了SKU（注：SKU为库存量单位）过多，库存积压。“去年的这个时候，我们的库存量是今天的5倍，春节前我们把仓清完了。但也付出了代价，对品牌也造成了伤害。”
